Rumuruti, Laikipia County | 16-17 July 2026
CIPS Health Procurement Africa (HPA) supported the Laikipia County Procurement Teams in preparing for their transition to Kenya's national Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) platform.
The two-day training, led by Jane Mwangi, brought together supply chain practitioners to strengthen their understanding of the e-GP system, resolve implementation challenges, and align procurement workflows for a smooth digital migration.
Through hands-on technical support and practical discussions, participants explored ways to enhance digital procurement governance, improve efficiency, and increase transparency across procurement processes. The transition to e-GP represents an important step toward stronger accountability and more resilient supply systems.
CIPS HPA remains committed to supporting procurement transformation initiatives that strengthen public sector governance, improve service delivery, and ensure the effective procurement of essential health products for communities across Laikipia County.
