The learning materials are created primarily for public procurement professionals working in the health sector across Africa. However, the principles, tools, and learning objectives are relevant to all procurement practitioners — whether you’re aspiring, developing, or already experienced in the field.

What topics do the materials cover?

The learning materials have been designed to cover all the key topic areas that are required to provide an efficient and effective procurement function, following the industry recognised procurement cycle. The various modules are designed to build practical skills and knowledge that support every stage of the procurement process.

Do I need previous procurement experience?

No previous procurement experience is required. The materials are designed to build fundamental knowledge from the ground up, making them suitable for complete beginners. At the same time, the content also supports developing and experienced professionals who want to strengthen or refresh their understanding of core procurement principles.

Can I complete the learning at my own pace?

Yes. All learning materials are designed for self-paced learning, allowing you to progress whenever it suits your schedule. There are no fixed deadlines or time limits, so you can take your time, revisit modules, and learn in a way that works best for you.
