Our mission is to revolutionize health procurement, enhancing access to essential Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) products across the continent​.

Our team's diagnostic assessments across Nigeria and Kenya have revealed significant competency gaps in procurement processes. These insights have led to tailored improvement plans encompassing policy development, operational procedures, and performance frameworks. These plans aim not just for short-term fixes but sustainable growth in procurement efficiency​.

Strategic Partnerships: A Collaborative Approach

Key to this transformation are strategic partnerships. Engagements with government bodies, donor agencies, and other stakeholders in Kenya, for instance, are driving the local manufacturing agenda, crucial for national health product security. These collaborations are essential in reshaping the procurement landscape, ensuring decisions are well-informed and impactful​.

Knowledge Dissemination: Empowering Through Education

The program's success hinges on knowledge transfer. Interactive workshops and a rich repository of procurement resources in the HPA library have played a significant role in enhancing the capabilities of procurement professionals. The program's expansion into Ethiopia marks a significant milestone. Initial research in the Ethiopian health sector has laid the foundation for future interventions.
