We are excited to welcome you to the Health Procurement Africa (HPA) platform, a dynamic and developing knowledge hub designed specifically for procurement professionals in Africa. Our goal is to provide you with a platform where you can learn, discuss, and grow in your profession.
Our mission is to create a community of procurement professionals who are passionate about their work and committed to excellence. We are proud to have you on board. You are part of a diverse community of more 1200 procurement practitioners across 47 countries in Africa, who are all dedicated to making a positive impact in the health sector.
Our platform is divided into two main areas: the knowledge hub and the community forum. The knowledge hub is where you can find a directory of over 200 articles, podcasts, infographics, webinars, and videos to support you in your work. We have also developed more than 33 guided mini courses, which we call learning pathways, to help you take your knowledge to the next level faster and build new skills.
As you will notice, we revamped the platform to make it easier and faster to access content, we want to ensure that you have the best experience possible. If you are unsure about what skills you need to hone or what you should learn more about, our simple self-assessment tool can generate a free personalized report to shine a light on key areas for personal development, enabling you to enjoy the advancement of your professional procurement knowledge.
The community forum is where you can interact with your peers, share your knowledge, ask, or answer questions, and network with other procurement professionals. We encourage you to participate in the discussions, share your experiences, and contribute to the community. Our aim is to create an environment of sharing and support, where members can help each other to better their knowledge and ways of working.
To make the most of the community forum, we recommend that you introduce yourself to the community and tell us about your background, experience, and interests. You can also browse the existing discussions and join the ones that interest you. Don't be afraid to ask questions or share your thoughts, as we are all here to learn from each other.
